The Bible has a lot to say about people who abuse others to their own advantage. But not all abuse is physical, and not all emotional abuse is something that can be proven. There is something called gaslighting, a tactic used by abusers to control others. It is good to be aware of this so that you are not taken captive to it. They can only win when we let them, i.e. when we believe their lies. We have to speak truth against these lies.
