No. In the Scriptures God makes the distinction between those who make sin their practice and those for whom righteousness is their practice, and the distinction between those who do not obey the Lord, in practice, and those who obey the Lord, in practice. Those for whom righteousness and obedience to the Lord and the putting of sins to death, is their practice, via God-persuaded faith in Jesus Christ, they have the hope of salvation from sin and eternal life with God. For those who make sin their practice, deliberately and habitually, and who do not obey the Lord, in practice, they will not have salvation from sin and eternal life with God. Not my words! It is what the Scriptures teach, which you can read in the Scripture references noted. We will not be sinless, most likely, but we should no longer be walking in sin, deliberately and habitually. But we should now be walking in obedience to God, in practice, in the power of God, by his grace, by his Spirit. Does that answer your question?
Yes, thank you. Salvation is 100% of the Lord, but I agree that if we’re genuinely saved, there will be works to evidence that. Faith without works is dead!
Are you saying we can be sinless in this life?
