Proverbs 21:6,7,10,27 NASB1995
“6 The acquisition of treasures by a lying tongue
Is a fleeting vapor, the pursuit of death.
7 The violence of the wicked will drag them away,
Because they refuse to act with justice.
10 The soul of the wicked desires evil;
His neighbor finds no favor in his eyes.
27 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination,
How much more when he brings it with evil intent!”
Yesterday, the Lord had me write a post titled, “The Counsel of The Nations Nullified,” where he had me share some of what he has been teaching me for the past 21+ years about the US federal government and their actions, perhaps from the very beginning of this nation, but definitely over the course of my lifetime of 76 years. And when I read this passage of Scripture this morning from Proverbs 21, what immediately stood out to me was that this is talking about the government of the USA and all its evil in the world.
Now hate me if you don’t like what I am about to say. It is okay. I would rather be hated for telling you the truth than to be loved for telling you lies which make you feel good. But, sadly, the US government are not the only ones spreading lies in the USA and across the globe. Probably the majority of these “institutional market-driven churches” (falsely called “churches”) are spreading some of the same lies about Israel and the US government, and their dealings, and about the gospel of Christ and our salvation from sin.
For, the USA and its government and its people are NOT one nation under the One True God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. That is a façade. The opposite is true, in fact. Our government is not a humanitarian group of people who care about the people of the world, or, in fact, the people of their own nation. Our government works for the elite, wealthy, and powerful of the world in taking down nation after nation by force – stealing, killing, and destroying, including within their own nation, and right now.
Recently the Lord led me to join Substack, which is another internet site where I can post my daily devotions. But it is so much more than that, some of it good, and some of it bad, just like every other internet site, perhaps. And today he led me to an article by an author named Gary D. Barnett who wrote something similarly to what the Lord had me write in “The Counsel of The Nations Nullified,” although not from a Christian perspective, perhaps, but which mostly all agreed with what the Lord has been showing me.
And three days ago the Lord had me respond to someone from another country who was lamenting the evil actions of the USA government on the people of the rest of the world. And he was calling out to the American people to do something about all the evil that their government was inflicting on the rest of the world. And his article, as well, spoke volumes of truth to me regarding the actions of the US government on the rest of the world – truth which the Lord had been teaching me for the past 21 years.
I did not save the title or the author of the post, but this was my response:
Hello! I am an American citizen, born here 76 years ago, and I am so sorry for all the damage that my nation has done to the rest of the world over the course of many years, deliberately, without conscience, and without concern for who they hurt and the damage that they do, in the process. It grieves me to know of what they have been doing all of my life, under the noses of the America citizens, most of whom have no idea what the US government has done and is doing to the people of the world while disguising their actions as something else, for they habitually lie to the American citizens.
But the US government, which the people of this nation believe are the ones calling all the shots, are a façade, a fake. Left and Right, politically speaking, are also a façade, for both sides work for the same people. And the elections are all fixed and a façade and they mean nothing. For the real de facto government of the USA is what we often term as “the shadow government,” alias a global conglomerate of people of enormous wealth and power and control over the entire world. And the US government serves them and their purposes, so they are still at fault, but we the people have no control.
For all of this is far greater than any of us could possibly imagine. For this is not about one country and their elected officials, but this is about a global order (a one world order) being plotted and carried out by the wealthy and powerful of this world who control the world. And the US government is just their puppets carrying out their desires. And that is not excusing them away. It is just saying that this goes way beyond one nation and their “elected” officials. And all that is happening has been prophesied in the Bible, so we are just seeing it unfold before our eyes. And what you wrote affirmed that.
The best that we can do, as American citizens, is to open our eyes to what is going on in the world, and to be willing to see our government’s involvement in it all, and then to be those who speak out against what is going on. But even if we do that, our voices are barely heard, for the people have been largely indoctrinated that such rhetoric is to be regarded as “conspiracy theories” which are to be immediately discarded as trash. And so our voices are immediately dismissed, in most cases. And we are just considered as nut cases or as extremists, but rarely are we taken seriously by the masses.
