“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, ‘For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’ But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:35-37 NASB1995)
We who are trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord (Owner/Master) and Savior (Deliverer from sin) of our lives, who deny self, die to sin, and are walking in obedience to our Lord and to his New Covenant commands, in practice, by the grace of God, in the power of God, cannot be separated from God, from the love of Christ, because of tribulation, distress, and persecution, etc. Those things will try our faith, they will test us, and we may even feel forsaken sometimes, but Jesus is still there. So we have to keep trusting.
For Jesus and his New Testament apostles promised us that if we follow Jesus Christ with our lives, and if we do and say the kinds of things that Jesus said and did when he walked the earth, and that God has called us to do, as his followers, we will be hated and persecuted, and some of us will be put to death. We will even be hated and rejected by others who claim to believe in Jesus, including by pastors and elders of “churches,” who may strongly encourage us to “go someplace else where you will be a better fit.”
We now live in a time in human history when everything around us seems to be calling out to us to warn us that the end is near, and for us to take notice of what is happening in our nations and in the world at large, and to take notice as to who is doing what to whom, and what the biblical ramifications could mean for it all. It is a time in our history when we need a great awakening, for Satan has blinded so many people’s minds and hearts to the truth, and so many are following after the lies believing they are the truth.
But not everything is as it appears on the surface. Not everyone is who they claim to be, not even some of the most highly regarded and respected people who profess faith in Jesus Christ, and who even preach what they say they believe. We have been fed lies from birth on up here in the USA. In some ways it would be good if we could just take a chalk eraser and erase all of what we were taught in public school and by the news media, and even by some preachers who preached lies and/or who taught government worship.
“The harlot” spoken of in the book of Revelation, I believe, is the idolatrous and adulterous church which has partnered with the world and with the government in an unholy union, which God forbids, and which he says we must come out of. It is a duet of government and church working together. But I believe its center is in the USA, and it has impacted the people of the whole world in one way or another. And the US government has done all kinds of evil to the people of the world for generation after generation, and they are still in the process of committing heinous crimes against humanity.
But so many of the USA government heads right now are all professing faith in Jesus Christ, and our president is pushing for making Christianity our national religion while he makes war with another nation that, in truth, was probably not our enemy. For the US government has been going around the world all my life destroying human lives, stealing their natural resources, and taking over their nations. And then they always point the finger at the other country claiming they were our enemy, when the US was the enemy.
So, what’s the intended result in them all putting on this hypocritical act of following Jesus with their lives and wanting to make this a Christian nation? What is the whole purpose of this performance? And I am not accusing everyone of performing. What I can see happening, and possibly soon, is the “ten horns and the beast” will “hate the harlot” and destroy her. That will mean serious Christian persecution in the USA like we have never known before in our lives. But our government is making other countries hate us and want to destroy us, as our government has done to them.
“And he said to me, ‘The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire. For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled. The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.’” (Revelation 17:15-18 NASB1995)

Bombs are bursting. Night is falling.
Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Trust Him with your life today.
Make Him your Lord and your Savior.
Turn from your sin. Follow Jesus.
He will forgive you of your sin;
Cleanse your heart, made new within.
Men betraying: Our trust fraying.
On our knees to God we’re praying,
Seeking God to give us answers
That are only found in Him.
God is sovereign over all things.
Nothing from His mind escaping.
He has all things under His command,
And will work all for good.
Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Men deceiving: We’re believing
In our Lord, and interceding
For our nation and its people
To obey their God today.
He is our hope for our future.
For our wounds He offers suture.
He is all we need for this life.
Trust Him with your life today.
