“Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. … Continue reading Woe to The Hypocrites
Bible Studies
For the past year the Lord has been having me write chronological studies of books of the New Testament. And I have been keeping those in collections on my computer by books of the Bible. My husband has encouraged me to create a new category and subcategories for those who might want to read these particular studies by book. Each one is from my personal devotions and they may not cover every verse or every chapter, and they might be in reverse order by chapter since that is the order in which they were posted, i.e. the last will appear first. This is a work in progress, so this may take me a while to recategorize and retag each post. I hope and pray this is beneficial to you.
We Must Be Ready
“Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to … Continue reading We Must Be Ready
The Days of Noah
“For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all … Continue reading The Days of Noah
They Will Betray One Another
“Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love … Continue reading They Will Betray One Another

“Then you will say on that day,‘I will give thanks to You, O Lord; For although You were angry with me,Your anger is turned away,And You comfort me.Behold, God is my salvation,I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song,And He has become my salvation.’Therefore you will joyously draw waterFrom … Continue reading God is My Salvation
A Woman’s Story
I know of this woman and her story. She married for love, but as the years passed by, she became sadly aware that her husband was addicted to sexual immorality and idolatry and adultery, and that this had been going on while they were dating and continued after they got married, and never stopped. Eventually … Continue reading A Woman’s Story
Woe to Those Who Enact Evil Statutes
Our God works in mysterious ways. I normally write a devotional each day based off Bible Gateway’s “Verse Of The Day.” Today’s verse is Isaiah 12:4. But I generally expand the passage of Scripture to include the general context, so more verses were added. And verse 1 talked about giving thanks to the Lord, for … Continue reading Woe to Those Who Enact Evil Statutes
The Lord is Near to the Brokenhearted
“The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteousAnd His ears are open to their cry.The face of the Lord is against evildoers,To cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the Lord hearsAnd delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenheartedAnd saves those who are … Continue reading The Lord is Near to the Brokenhearted
God is Our Help and Our Shield
