“Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults. Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins;Let them not rule over me; then I will be blameless,And I shall be acquitted of great transgression.” (Psalm 19:12-13 NASB1995) Because we are human, and we are not God, we might get some things wrong sometimes. We, without … Continue reading Let Them Not Rule Over Us
Bible Studies
For the past year the Lord has been having me write chronological studies of books of the New Testament. And I have been keeping those in collections on my computer by books of the Bible. My husband has encouraged me to create a new category and subcategories for those who might want to read these particular studies by book. Each one is from my personal devotions and they may not cover every verse or every chapter, and they might be in reverse order by chapter since that is the order in which they were posted, i.e. the last will appear first. This is a work in progress, so this may take me a while to recategorize and retag each post. I hope and pray this is beneficial to you.

God Exalted Among the Nations
“Come, behold the works of the Lord,Who has wrought desolations in the earth. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;He burns the chariots with fire.‘Cease striving and know that I am God;I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in … Continue reading God Exalted Among the Nations

Though the Earth Should Change
“God is our refuge and strength,A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should changeAnd though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;Though its waters roar and foam,Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah.” (Psalm 46:1-3 NASB1995) If we pay attention at all to what is … Continue reading Though the Earth Should Change
Serve The Lord Christ
“Slaves, in all things obey those who are your masters on earth, not with external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward … Continue reading Serve The Lord Christ
Marriage Held in Honor
“Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.” (Colossians 3:18-19 NASB1995) We, as Christian women who are married to our husbands, are to be in subjection (submission, subordinate) to our husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. But not just … Continue reading Marriage Held in Honor
Death to Immorality and Evil Desire
“Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who … Continue reading Death to Immorality and Evil Desire
