For You

I just want to thank all my readers for being here, for reading this blog, and for all your many words of encouragement, hope, healing, and cheer, and for the many times and ways in which you have ministered God’s love and grace to my spirit – to my heart.

You are very special to me!! Your love and your kind and thoughtful words minister to me over and over again. I appreciate your gracious input in the things which you share in response to these blog posts, too. I learn a lot from you! God has given you wisdom and grace oftentimes to know just the right words to say. I thank you for that! And, I thank God, too, for bringing you into my life. I am blessed beyond measure!

I pray for all of you to have the blessings of God on your lives in this New Year as you continue in Him and in His grace and in your walks of faith in Christ Jesus. And, if you do not know Jesus Christ, I pray you will give your life to him very soon, because not one of us knows if we have tomorrow. And, if you know him, but you have been walking in disobedience, I pray you will repent, and that you will return to him today, while there is still time. For, there is no better joy than to be walking in fellowship with our Lord.

    • Thank you! I like that scripture. That is so fitting! Thank you for these thoughtful remarks. I appreciate them.

      It was in 2004 that the Lord called me to this ministry. He spoke to me through Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NIV): Then the Lord replied:

      “Write down the revelation
      and make it plain on tablets
      so that a herald may run with it.
      For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
      it speaks of the end
      and will not prove false.
      Though it linger, wait for it;
      it will certainly come
      and will not delay.”

      What the Lord showed me through this passage was that I was to write down what he teaches me through his Word each day, and on my computer, and that my “tablet” is my computer, and that I am to place these writings on the internet (the runner) so that the runner can “run with it.”

      Like you, God inspires, and I write, and he takes it where he wants it, and he uses it for his glory and for his purposes according to his will. So, that is how that title came about.
