This was the church in Philadelphia. This is a short summary of the 6^th of the 7 letters to the churches in Revelation 2-3. This was an encouragement to the church who kept God’s word and who did not deny His name during trying times. Jesus was letting them know that He could open doors of opportunity for them that no man could shut and that He can shut doors that no man can open. And those are comforting words! But to those who belonged to the synagogue of Satan, Jesus would bring them to their knees, and they would acknowledge one day God’s love for His followers.
