“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord:though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword;for the mouth of … Continue reading If You are Willing and Obedient
Bible Studies
For the past year the Lord has been having me write chronological studies of books of the New Testament. And I have been keeping those in collections on my computer by books of the Bible. My husband has encouraged me to create a new category and subcategories for those who might want to read these particular studies by book. Each one is from my personal devotions and they may not cover every verse or every chapter, and they might be in reverse order by chapter since that is the order in which they were posted, i.e. the last will appear first. This is a work in progress, so this may take me a while to recategorize and retag each post. I hope and pray this is beneficial to you.
He Has Told Us What is Good
On December 31, 2024, I turned 75 years old. Four days later, on January 4, 2025, my husband, and most of my children, children-in-law, and grandchildren celebrated with me my 75 years of life on this earth. I had requested that those who could, that they would play their musical instruments and that we would … Continue reading He Has Told Us What is Good
Holy and Acceptable to God
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will … Continue reading Holy and Acceptable to God

The Fear of Man
“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” (Proverbs 29:25 ESV) This is a short passage of Scripture and yet it is filled with biblical truth. Ashamed of Christ and of His Gospel
“Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God. “And Jesus cried out and said, ‘Whoever … Continue reading Ashamed of Christ and of His Gospel
If You Continue in the Faith

Walk While You Have the Light
“So Jesus said to them, ‘The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. Speaking the True Gospel
This is a continuation of the lesson from Acts 26:12-20 in the devotion titled, “Turning from Darkness to Light.” Paul was under arrest and was serving time in prison for his testimony for Jesus Christ and for his testimony of his salvation from sin, i.e. for the sake of the gospel message. And now he … Continue reading Speaking the True Gospel
