“This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he … Continue reading Come and Follow Him
Bible Studies
For the past year the Lord has been having me write chronological studies of books of the New Testament. And I have been keeping those in collections on my computer by books of the Bible. My husband has encouraged me to create a new category and subcategories for those who might want to read these particular studies by book. Each one is from my personal devotions and they may not cover every verse or every chapter, and they might be in reverse order by chapter since that is the order in which they were posted, i.e. the last will appear first. This is a work in progress, so this may take me a while to recategorize and retag each post. I hope and pray this is beneficial to you.
Betrothed to Christ
“I wish you would bear with me in a little foolishness. Do bear with me! For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ. But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will … Continue reading Betrothed to Christ
Pray for Wisdom and Discernment
John 13:21-28 NASB 1995 When Jesus had said this, He became troubled in spirit, and testified and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that one of you will betray Me.” The disciples began looking at one another, at a loss to know of which one He was speaking. There was reclining on Jesus’ bosom … Continue reading Pray for Wisdom and Discernment

We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; … Continue reading Death Resulting in Life
Faithful Stewards
“This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not … Continue reading Faithful Stewards
Abstain From Fleshly Passions
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but … Continue reading Abstain From Fleshly Passions

Acts 28:25-28 ESV And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: “The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet: “‘Go to this people, and say,“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”For this people's heart has grown dull, and with … Continue reading Just Keep Praying
Crazy for Jesus
And as he was saying these things in his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are out of your mind; your great learning is driving you out of your mind.” But Paul said, “I am not out of my mind, most excellent Festus, but I am speaking true and rational words. For … Continue reading Crazy for Jesus
