I believe that sometimes or often we are guilty of taking God/Jesus Christ for granted. As well, I believe today’s church is often at fault in how they present God/Jesus when they paint God as a big doting grandfather in the sky, and/or when they paint Jesus as a weak and powerless person who just … Continue reading Realizing

Pray, Pray, Pray
On September 6, 2012, prior to the Lord giving me this song on prayer, he gave me three songs in a row on the subject of love, mainly on loving other people. Whenever I study the scriptures on the subject of loving others, I am reminded of how much I still need to learn and … Continue reading Pray, Pray, Pray
Confession of Sin
We read in 2 Samuel 11 a story about King David, who was regarded as a man after God’s own heart. One day David lusted after a woman named Bathsheba. From his roof he saw her bathing, and so he inquired about her. He found out who she was, and that she was married to … Continue reading Confession of Sin
Praise the “I Am”
On February 24, 2012, I was reading in Revelation about the power and majesty of God, and of Jesus Christ, God the Son. Jesus, the Lamb of God, was the only one worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because he was slain, and with his blood he purchased men for God. … Continue reading Praise the “I Am”
Praise Be Told
Jesus Christ, God the Son, came to earth, took on human flesh, suffered as we suffer, and was tempted as we are tempted, yet without sin. He was despised, rejected, persecuted, abandoned, denied, betrayed, beaten, mocked and killed, although he had done no wrong. God made him who knew no sin to be sin for … Continue reading Praise Be Told

Open Your Hearts
In this song, Jesus is speaking, and he is asking us to open our hearts to him, and to accept him into our hearts. He is not only saying this to those who don’t know him, but he is saying this to those who think they know him or to those who do know him … Continue reading Open Your Hearts
Our Awesome God
On May 25, 2011, I was sitting on the sofa in the evening, spending some quiet time alone with God before I went to bed, and I was asking him to speak to my heart whatever he might want to say to me. The words to one of the Psalms began going through my mind … Continue reading Our Awesome God
An Overwhelming Sadness
An Original Work / March 22, 2018 Do you ever feel an overwhelming sadness? All around you seems then to be so much pain. Sin has run amok within the walls of churches. For the gospel truth, there is so much disdain. Men in pulpits hiding sins behind the curtain, Making jokes about the sacred … Continue reading An Overwhelming Sadness
Our Eyes on Jesus
On April 23, 2012, I was praying through some present situations in my life. I was feeling weary, and I was losing heart over the situation, so I prayed for renewed strength. Then, I pulled out the Bible study we were doing in our ladies’ Tuesday morning Bible study, and I read Hebrews 12:2-3: “Let … Continue reading Our Eyes on Jesus
